The caffeinated vote

Another field report from a MassINC staffer:
8:15. Precinct 6 and 9, South Boston. There were about 40 people ahead of me when I got in line, but it moved quickly. I was in and out in about 20min. The man behind me asked the woman he was with if she was only voting for the free coffee.
If she was, it was a wasted trip. Worried about laws against bribing people to vote, Starbucks has changed its offer and will give a "tall brewed coffee" to anyone who asks today (go to the end of the story), regardless of whether you did your civic duty.
