Apparently, you are unaware that in fact, Victoria Williams is not the director of the City of Boston's Fair Housing Commission, but rather, this former assistant parks commissioner is Menino's director of the Civil Rights Office & the Fair Housing Commission falls under the Civil Rights Office. There IS NO commissioner of the Boston Fair Housing Commission. Williams has attempted to fill that position as well as that of Civil Rights Office director. In my experience, she is fairly clueless as to Fair Housing law. I am not at all surprised that the Affordable Housing Program, if it is administrated by Williams & the Fair Housing Commission, has become little more than another benefit for city of Boston employees.

To lump the Reserve Channel building in with the others is misleading. This is not a high end building with some affordable units, it is 26 units, all affordable and without all of the bells and whistles of the other places. I know because I am one of those who was fortunate enough to have been selected in that lottery.
